This lovely lady is an approximately 2-year-old black mini mare that came to us from a herd in Souris, Manitoba. This sweet horse had an owner who loved her but he passed away about eight years ago and the family didn’t realize that their mother was unable to provide proper care for them. Recently she passed away and that is how they came to be in our care.
This little gal has come an amazingly long way in the past few months. She is now approaching us on her own, without treats and we are able to touch her face and entire body. She stands well for the farrier and the vet. She is sweet and curious and has great potential. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to find her a great home.
