Titan is an absolutely gorgeous 14-year-old dun Belgian. He is super thick and moves beautifully. Titan came here as an owner surrender, his owners were no longer able to care for him due to age-related issues. They purchased Titan at auction and he had to have his halter surgically removed. He still has a bump on his face from this. When we went to pick Titan up he was terrified of people and it took us four hours to catch him and get him loaded into the trailer.
Since his arrival he has made amazing progress, Titan now lets us approach him, he lets us touch him and love him up. We can feed him treats and he has also now had his hooves done. Titan will continue training with us until he finds his forever home. The volunteers and visitors here are tremendously proud of the progress we have made with him and I have literally seen tears come to some of their eyes when they tell me he let them – feed him, pet him, love on him.
