Chrome is a 2016 dapple grey gelding who arrived at Barefoot ranch in the Spring of 2022 with Zen. He was an owner-surrender who didn’t have time for him. Before that, he lived in what is referred to as “Children of the Corn”. His situation there was not good, and he has been since scared of humans.
He is currently going through reconnection training with one of our volunteers and has since made big strides. He will go up for treats, but nothing more from others. Sweet boy, he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Chrome is also known as the “King of the Minis” here at the ranch.
