Blackjack is a tall, sweet one-year-old gelding that was purchased last fall as a weanling. He was purchased at Grunthal Auction and was a wild little one when he came in. Blackjack was curious though and quickly warmed up to us. He has begun training and leads well, he also picks up all four feet and stands decently for the farrier and vet. We are still working with him and he will only get better with time. We suspect Blackjack to be between 15 and 16 hands at maturity and that he had thoroughbred breeding, of course, we can’t be sure of this.
