Zeus is an absolutely gorgeous grey registered quarter-horse gelding. He was born in 2003, making him 20 years old. Zeus has had basic training and has been used as a lesson horse, for minor jumping and a bit of dressage. He is tender in the front feet and arthritic in the front left ankle from what we were told when he was surrendered. He does show signs of stiffness when he is ridden for a longer period of time or for work purposes.
Zeus is a sweet as pie, is easily caught and leads well. He has excellent manners and has really worked his way into our hearts quickly. He gets along great with the gentle herd here and he will be truly missed when he goes. Zeus would be an amazing horse for a child or someone looking for only light riding or a companion horse. You will fall in love with him as quickly as we have and I am quite shocked he hasn’t been snatched up already.
