Volunteer with Us
We love our volunteers!
While previous experience with horses is helpful, it is not required. We are happy to show you around and teach you everything you need to know. But we don’t just need volunteers for the animals, we also need volunteers to help with our fundraising events. Don’t worry, we always keep the “fun” in fundraising.
You can find yourself involved with any number of these tasks:
- Socializing Horses
- Catching Horses
- Grooming Horses
- Cleaning out shelters and hauling manure
- Feeding and watering all animals at the ranch
- Cleaning and organizing tack
- Haltering, saddling, and bridling horses
- Hauling and filling hay and feed containers
- Working at events and tours
- Assisting with hoof trimming and veterinary care
- Other duties as outlined on the chores list
Being a volunteer is hard work, but it is also incredibly rewarding. Imagine the satisfaction of having a horse that was previously untouchable walk right up to you for some love. There is no greater feeling than the trust of a rescued horse!
