We are so incredibly excited to announce that as of May 23, 2023, we have become a registered charity. What this means for you is that any donation over $20 sent to us, is now eligible for an income tax receipt. That means every donation received, not only benefits us, it also benefits you.
What does that mean for us? Well, it’s a game-changer! We can now qualify for government and corporate grants and corporations will be more likely to sponsor and donate to us since it is a huge benefit to them as well. For every dollar they donate to us, they get a receipt for an income tax deduction, which means they pay less taxes.
