Soon after moving here, we started to notice a need to provide a sanctuary in the area for horses. There were multiple circumstances that arose that brought many horses in need to us. We began with the thought of rehabilitating the horses and selling them to recoup our expenses, but that was a short-lived dream.
From 2012 to 2019, we rescued 19 horses on our own dime. In 2016 we decided to incorporate to make our organization more official and to see if we could make a bigger impact in the community.
Last year with the severe drought in the area there was an increased need for an organization like ours. we decided that we could help more horses and do more for the horses already here if we began to fundraise. In the past year, with your support, we have rescued over 70 equine. We are committed to ensuring all horses have the best opportunity to live out their lives in a great environment. Some of our horses will be rehabilitated and rehomed, and some of them will live out their lives here, where they are safe. Either way, they will never have a shortage of loving care.
